The Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, the National Bank of Austria and the European Investment Bank organized the international conference “Access to Finance, Bank Lending and Banking Sectors in Central, Eastern and Southeastern European Countries”. This conference addressed important topics on the importance of the banking sector activity in the Central and Southeastern European region, as an important pillar of financing economic development in these countries. Numerous experts in this field participated in this conference, as experts from the country’s central bank, central banks in the region and beyond, local and international financial institutions and commercial banks. Banka Ekonomike signs guarantee agreement with Kosovo Credit Guarantee Fund Banka Ekonomike and the Kosovo Credit Guarantee Fund signed a credit guarantee agreement that will provide micro, small and medium enterprises with easier access to financing, as well as greater security for the bank in terms of lending. This agreement will benefit women's businesses, farmers, as well as entrepreneurs who are unable to provide sufficient collateral to secure a loan. At the same time, this agreement aims to stimulate lending to those businesses whose investment plans will contribute to economic growth, as well as the generation of new jobs. The application procedure is the same as the bank's standard procedures and in this case, if the client does not fully meet the conditions for obtaining a loan such as: minimum collateral, minimum mortgage or minimum of any other type of collateral, the bank will enable the loan to be issued by using the KGFK guarantee.
